There are four themes that we have covered in the past that have been noticed. These themes are chivalry, flattery, greed, and selfishness. Chivalry is a personal favorite. Chivalry is basically the honor code for a knight. The greatest example of chivalry is found in the "Canterbury Tales". "A Knight's Tale" theme is chivalry and the greatest example of chivalry that has ever been written. Another theme is flattery. Flattery is the excessive praise of another.
