Thesis Statement:
Making the jump out of high school to the NBA may sound lucrative to any teenager with all the hype, fortune and fame involved, however, it can be damaging to the player and the game.
I. Players are not just going to the NBA without persuasion, there are people showing them the way and there are also people trying to prevent or slow the whole phenomenon.
1. There are several problems that exist with most young athletes jumping into the NBA.
2. Shoe companies play a big part in many players' decisions during the summer months.
3. There is a few options currently being reviewed in order to create some kind of balance between the NBA and NCAA worlds.
