Internet Operating Systems
Operating systems that are commonly found on the Internet include almost all of them. These operating systems include PC, server, and mainframe operating systems. The operating systems that you and I see are our own personal computers. Behind the scenes are the server operating systems and the huge Internet relay site's operating systems. Put all these together and you get the World Wide Web, as we know it from end user to Internet access portals back to other Internet users.
Personal Computers
On the personal computer side of the Internet you will find all the most common operating systems of today. Any operating system that can support a web browser is included in this category. They include but are not limited the entire Microsoft Windows family, MacIntosh OSX, Sun Solaris, the different flavors of LINUX and UNIX. Any operating system capable of hosting a web-browser would be considered an Internet operating system; this is pretty much every operating system in the world.
