People work to earn their living and also for their affirmation of being useful persons. Some are looking for their first jobs in life, and others are for better benefits. Therefore, how do we pass an interview effectively to get a good job? Prepare for the important day and divide the preparation into three steps: things to do after submitting Curriculum Vitae (CV), one or two days before interview and on interview day.
Firstly, after you have applied for a position, try to learn about that company. There is no better place to get the company's image than their Web site. Most company sites will have their services produced, press released, available jobs and information on partners and customers, etc. Then, check out other Web sites of the company's chief competitors to discover what your company have to react in coming months. At last, base on what you have had about the company and its competitors, prepare a list of your own questions and bring those questions with you on the interview day. Remember not to ask about salary, stock options, vacation, holiday schedule or benefits, which will make the interviewer think you do not sound like to contribute and work hard...
