Growing up is to me to act responsibly and develop to maturity. It also means a process through progressive development or increase. Humans are by nature social animals. Growing up is the product of humans interacting in group or isolated individuals. It is a challenge. Sometimes, humans are encountering difficulties, disappointment and disillusionment in growing up. According to the short stories "A Trifle From Real life" by Anton Chekhov, "Two kinds" By Amy Tan, "The Man Who Was Almost A Man" By Richard Wright, disillusionment is a major part of growing up.
The beginning of the story "A Trifle From Real Life" shows that Olga, the mother, and her ex-husband were separated but, they were still connected because of the kids. After the separation, it becomes very difficult for the father and the kids to see each other, so he sees the kids in secret with the help of their nanny. He has told Aliosha , one of the kinds that he is planning to take them away from their mother and he also says that Belayeff, the mother's lover has ruined her as a secret...
