I chose to watch for my second movie, The Wages of Sin by Ray Vander Lann. Ray has a God given ability to take stories from the Bible and to draw great analogies that parallel modern events. His teaching ability is enhanced by his knowledge of the Biblical landscape. He has produced this mini series which can allow your common Bible student or scholar to actually see some of the places talked about in the Bible without actually traveling their. This short video The Wages of Sin gives us just a little glimpse into the lives of the Jewish people, as well a into the God that we serve.
This story the Wages of Sin is a compilation of a Bible study which comes from 2 Chronicles chapters 29-32, Isaiah chapters 36-37, and 2 Kings 17:1-20. The underlying message that is being presented, is what the results of unfaithfulness can be. The story tells about the Jewish City of Lochish and the tragic result, when the culture violated the Laws of the Lord. The City of Lochish was a very important city, which was located directly to the south of Jerusalem. The reason it was so important was it was very heavily fortified and it was the main line of defense for the city of Jerusalem located to the north...
