Fellow students and Faculty. Good morning.
Did you know that in Western Australia, homosexuality is no longer unlawful? However, is it still lawful for people to be discriminated against on the basis of their own sexuality? The possibility of including sexuality as a ground of unlawful discrimination in the EQUAL OPPORTUNITY ACT has been subject to considerable debate. It is my recommendation that sexuality be added to the EQUAL OPPORTUNITY ACT as a ground of unlawful discrimination
Sexuality, in particular male homosexuality and lesbianism, are issues on which many Australians have deeply held beliefs. There have been many stereotypes laid upon homosexuals...
