The artwork that I chose from the Stanford University of Art Museum was a painting titled. "Portrait of Elizabeth Eliot, Mrs. Gershorn), by Ralph Earl. Earl's portrait is painted in some soft and tranquil colors, while other objects are painted in bright luminescent colors. Elizabeth Eliot seated on a red scarlet chair looking out in to the viewer's direction with a slight smile across her face. The artist portrays Eliot eloquent, with richly detailed wavy white hair draped down to her shoulders. Draped around her shoulders is a red scarf with a matching sachet tied around her waist. Eliot is also presenting a white flourishing dress with a gold broche on the center. On her right wrist is a black and gold cuff with a chain attached to a squirrel. The squirrel stands on the desk, eating a corn nut facing Eliot...
