ELECTING JUDGES IN OHIO
As far as VOTER EDUCATION WE NEED TO DO A BETTER JOB OF COVERING THE RACES... more stories, more notice, more interviews.
I love the MEET THE CANDIDATES IDEA.
We tend to follow controversy, pictures, and sports in central ohio.
When you break down a newscast you get about 8-10 minutes of news. (take away commercials, weather, sports). Cover 4-5 big stories of day, a couple business stories, and finally "horse rescued from the muddy lake happy ending story" and that doesn't leave a lot of time for anything else.
Personally, I believe we have to do more to get voters to the polls not only for judicial races but, for all races. We all win when we all vote...
