Tanya Schubert, the name of my fencer began fencing just eight months ago. She began to take an interest in the sport after the child she took care of and baby sat for began telling her about fencing. After Tanya looked into the sport of fencing and found all of its components fascinating she began to study the art of fencing. She took many lessons, trained hard, and spent much time, money, and effort to quickly learn the basics of fencing. Today, eight months after Tanya has started fencing she visits the fencing club regularly, about two times a week. Tanya has a vigorous practice almost two times a week, and after the practice, either decides to engage in a bout or take a lesson. Tanya is serious about fencing. She finds fencing to be an easy way to relax and let the mind clear itself. Tanya enjoys the complexities and the challenges of fencing and openly accepts any challenge or opponent.
