Throughout this course I have learned a great deal about my strengths and weaknesses and how to apply or eliminate them in order to achieve my career goals. In the midst of this course I have also encountered several opportunities and possible threats that I will address later.
Everyone likes to think that they have all strengths and no weaknesses. I tend to think of it from the other end. I feel that I do have several strengths, but that I can constantly improve upon many different skills.
In the beginning of the course, we did a self assessment. I found that I was a bit on the direct side and tend to be short and to the point, almost to a fault. I have since stepped back and viewed my interaction with people and have changed my interaction with people to suit the situation and the person that I am dealing with. Also during this assessment, I learned that I am more outgoing than reserved. I feel that this applies more to smaller groups in which I work with every day...
