why i dont want to be a scientist

I do not want to be a scientist. Why? First of all, we have to know what the meaning of scientist is and what a scientist usually do.
Scientist is a person who studies science and has expert knowledge on a science subject. From my point of view, scientists have to stay in their laboratory all days and nights, doing their research and experiments.
First, I think everyone doing everything have their own purpose. Although I am now studying chemistry, what I want is not become a chemist or scientist; in fact, I was hoping to become a teacher since I was a primary school student, it is my own objective and my own goal of studying chemistry. Being scientist is simply not within my consideration.
Moreover, I found that the science education, especially in university study, the curriculum is too specialized; the view is too narrow. When my parents ask me about some kind of disease, some daily life science problem, I always do not know the answer...
