Since there are students being infected by SARS, the government, who remained adamant that there was no need to shut down schools, has finally order all schools to suspend classes in responds to the overwhelming concern from parents. The move has won a lot of applause from the public, though the government has again dragged its feet in dealing with this kind of series issue. It is true that the closure of the school allow time for the school staff to clean the campus thoroughly. But a more important thing is, parents should make sure that their children do not get infected in this period. For some parents, they are able to take care of their children at home and avoid them to get into contact with some infected people or go to some risky places.
