A friend in need is a friend indeed.
For what are friends for?
As a staff to the lame,
As a tent in the rain,
A true friend is life's greatest gain.
Sadly however, as precious as is this gain, many find that it is equally rare!
Today we hear of " fair-weather friends", a term that really is a scar on the noble face of friendship. One should search one's soul as to the type of friend one is, and the type of friend one has. Are you a "fair-weather" friend who is only around when the going is good or can you be depended upon when going gets rough? What type of people do you yourself spend hours of life with? Will they be around during stormy days?
