In the movie Tea Party Etiquette, George Robert Hewes is an old man who begins to reminisce about his past. It goes back seventy years earlier to when he is a young apprentice working as a shoe maker. He remembers on March 5, 1770, a young boy started an argument with a soldier because he was against the Townshend acts. This act had imposed the duties on imports to the colonies. The young boy was struck by the soldier's gun. Seeing this, the townspeople began to hit the soldier with rocks, snow, and ice. Because this soldier was being attacked, more soldiers we're called upon. The British soldiers ordered the citizens to disperse or they would be fired upon. They didn't leave and the soldiers opened fire, killing five men. Crispus Attucks, the leader of the group, was killed with four other men...
