The Red Violin
This movie begins in Italy where we see a man making violins, this man name Niccolo Biusottu. We are taken to a seen that appears to be present day where were at a auction house and they are describing the red violin made by Niccolo Bussoti in 1681. Niccolo makes this beautiful violin for his baby that will be born soon, he claims it is a perfect violin, unfortunately the birth was a diffultu one and the baby and the mother died. Just at this sad part the music playing demands much of our ears, the music has to be listened to very carefully and when it does it speaks to us. At the part where Bussoti's wife is in pain you can feel her pain with the violin solo. In this part the music is dark, and scary the strings are harsh. The film journeys through diffierent countries throught fifferent times in period, the music palyed by the violin reflects the era we are in throughout the movie. The next scene in the movie is of a young boy Kasoer Weiss, he's at an orphanage in Vienna . The violin has already been there for 100 years in the hands of Kasper, it seems magical, he is thought of as a miracle boy when he plays the red violin he is amazing. This man Poussin comes and take the boy so he can teach him to excel in the playing...
