Recently, crimes committed by students have triggered big arguments among people in Japan. “ijime”,
which is viciously sneaky forms of bullying found in the schools and sometimes is acted to death, “enjo-kosai”,
or compensated dating, atrocious injury or sometimes murder committed for not so serious reason, etc ------ all
these are said to be caused by Japan’s wrong education. Now, we need to understand Japan’s education
problems and find remedies.
First of all, there are problems in the education system built by the Education Ministry. Japan’s
education is called a controlled education, which means the Education Ministry establishes the standard and
rules about education in schools, and each school educates students following them. ... Enforced by their teachers, who was also educated in controlled education,
students are concentrating only to study for their exams while they are lacking of the education for heart,
virtue and sociality.
The lacking of the education at home is often argued among people.
