Who should make the final verdict? The person making the final decision should require a Masters Degree in Law and prove to be worthy enough to make a fair decision based on the evidence found and have experience dealing with different life styles and classes of people. This individual would be a judge, not an average citizen. Expertise is a serious issue when it comes to the law; the motive behind the decision of the verdict is most important. Sending some one to jail, giving the death penalty, Probation, or a life sentence will forever affect the life of the defendant and his/ her family. The guilty verdict has a major affect on the lives of people and their family; some of those people are unfairly proven guilty. The jury is average citizens and most are not educated enough to know exactly how to make the verdict. Juries making the verdict in a court of law should be eliminated.
