  Smoking is one of the isssues on which the controversy does not seem to end between those who are in favor of it and those who oopose it.each of these two parties has its own arguments which according to it justify its attitude towards smoking. the following essays will try to adapt the second view that is those of the opponents of smoking.
  One of the arguments which is cited by the supporters of smoking is that the latter is a personal concern, any attempt to prohibit it, is an exotic interference in one 's privacy;furthermore, smoking is a profitable source of economy since the companies which produce this kind of goods pay wages to their workers and taxes to their countries;given this fact, forbiding smoking leads to both unemployment and a decrease of of the countries ' financial incomes .But the question rises here about the authencity of such arguments if we compare them wih the dangerous damages of that bad habit of smoking.
  The pretext which says that smoking is a personal concern is proving to be a false one if we take into account the fact that the smoker is not only damaging his health but also that of the members of his family and the people who are near him during the act of smoking .;moereover there are some kind of cancers whose causes were unknown before but are not now known thanks to medecine which has given thte evidence that their main cause is smoking.these cancers are related to the hungs, the mouth, and so on.so smoking can be considered a potentail cause of death if we allow for the danger of such cancers which can not be cured but they can danger can be lessened through medical coverage which means a financial burden to both the smoker and his country.
