Ultra-tight navigation system is a GPS-based navigation system which fuses inertial sensors information with GPS signals form satellites to finding more accurate positioning information and reject Dynamic Stress. This combination is between two navigations systems. The first one, Global positioning System (GPS), employed satellites signals to recover the position of a target. With finding the delay related to these signals from at least 4 satellites, the receiver recovers its three-dimension position. The second one, navigation system with inertial sensors which includes rate gyroscope and accelerometer is used in navigation before employing GPS systems. These sensors measure velocity and acceleration of abject. Navigation system with this information and knowledge of one reference point position, finds the place of moving abject. This system offer more accurate results in short time than GPS receiver, but in long term suffers from measurements noise in sensors which increase with time even in expensive ones, also its performance is related to accuracy of reference position. in other side, GPS system does not need other reference point rather than its satellites so it offers a more constant error with time; however; the satellite signal has power less than thermal noise and the performance of system is sensitive to any jamming and interference, Therefore; The idea of combination of these two systems for improving each system with advantage of another system have been attracted attention recently.
There are three methods of blending information from these systems...
