All humanbeings cross over into God's keeping one day like other livingbeings. No matter what we do we connot be in control of our destiny.When the death knell strikes for us,there is no way to avoid DEATH.None of us are immune to dseases or the decease. In 'To His Coy Mistress'written by Andrew Marvell,the poetic persona is aware of the fact that he and his beloved are both mortals so he wants to spend his limitted life with his beloved.Persona tries to make his beloved aware of their mortality by making use of a syllogistic argument.
There are things that we would like to happen, but it is no use wishing for the impossible.Poetic persona supposes that if he and his beloved were immortals, they savour every moment of their lives.If they were immortals,his beloved's coyness would not be a crime. They would be calm and relax...
