The agreement among philosophers now is that the existence of God cannot be proved. Though they are not trying to say that he does not exist, but only that his existence is not something that can be rationally demonstrated. Along with the many different arguments for the existence of God, three stand out in importance, The Teleological Argument, The Cosmological Argument and The Ontological Argument. Also, God is known to be perfect by some people. If God is perfect, then God can't have any needs or wants. If he doesn't have any needs or wants then he wouldn't bother creating something. On the other hand, if God intentionally created something. It must have been because of some need or want. This first argument is based on the idea that a perfect being quite simply has no need to create anything at all. There is also a second argument which tries to rebut against the existence of any God which is claimed to be both perfect and the creator of our universe...
