One thing I have always struggled to understand is God's love. Maybe it's because we use, or rather misuse that word "love" so frequently. I use it when speaking of my job, my favorite band, the car I want or even something as minute as my favorite food. I then in turn use the very same word to describe how I feel about my son and even the Lord. No wonder it's hard for me to understand what it means when the bible says "God is love."

I think this is what makes His love so hard for me to grasp. God knows of every sin I have ever committed. All the things I have done in "secret" when I thought no one else would know or care...
