Siddhartha and Me
I think anyone can sympathize and relate to the journey of Siddhartha because we are all in one way or another on a journey ourselves the journey of life itself. We may not take our journey to the extremes such as Siddhartha did but we all are seeking one thing or another. Many of us ourselves are seeking love, faith, happiness, higher education or just a general meaning for life.
I think myself as well as many other seniors in our class who have read this book can relate to it because many of us are coming to a major turning point in our lives. Many of us our deciding what path we want to take and what we want to do with our lives. I myself still have no clue what I want to do with my life. I do not know what college I want to go to or what I want to go to college for. I guess in a way I am just like Siddhartha I am trying to find my place in life and just like Siddhartha I will most likely have to deal with a few setbacks and just learn to go on just as Siddhartha did. In a way I guess you could say I am wandering at this point in my life but I like to believe what Siddhartha says, "Not all that wander are lost the journey is more important than the destination". I believe that in my wandering and through my journey I will find my niche in life and that I will find something that is right for me...
