Growing up in America today can be very difficult in today's world. Some problems that a young adult may face are teen pregnancy, under age smoking, and drug usage. In my opinion, teen pregnancy is the biggest issue because young people are being pressured into having sex and not really knowing the conquences. When young adults have kids, it creates a conflict with their everyday life. Some pleasures that a teen may take for granted like going out to the movies, staying up late with a friend, or going out on Friday or Saturday nights are very limited after having children. . Some teenagers who become pregnant they either keep their baby, give it up for adoption, or have an abortion, all because they don't have the time and the place to take care of it.
The mother of the child is also at this risk for these problems. When a teenage mother is pregnant sometimes, they are in a state of crisis for herself and her family. Some of the common reactions that they may have include anger, guilt and denial...
