Biotechnology; Yesterday's tomorrow. A science that has captured humanity's core. It has proven to be a never ending revolution, bewildering the mind and exploring new possibilities. With scientists becoming more and more hopeful with new discoveries, cures and ideas, this modern science has become very popular recently. So, should biotechnology transform mankind as we know it? Controversies have erupted worldwide, debating this issue. Articles such as; "Man and superman", "Cures On the Cob", and "Spare parts for the Brain", have all explored the topic. By analyzing the articles, it will be proven evident that biotechnology is the reality of today and should indeed continue its journey to transform humanity. By simply stating the pros and providing substantiary evidence, this essay will illustrate how medical science is already a strong ally to humanity; diminishing all doubts, hence proving why humanity should undoubtedly accept it.
