MY CAREER/ATHLETIC COACH
The career choice I chose was Athletic Coach. Typical days of being a Coach are working very irregular and sometimes long hours. But mostly a coach would awake at 6:30 to meet the team around 7:15 am in the weight room for heavy work out with the weights and cardio. After working out, they would head back to the locker room where they then discuss new plays and strategies. After discussing plays and walking through them in the locker room, they would then go to the practice fields to run through the plays and get used to them. Part of the job as a coach is to promote good sportsmanship and a competitive spirit and to teach them teamwork.
Coaches have to enjoy working to promote good sportsmanship, team work and be respected. In order to become a coach, I would have to attend college and receive a degree in sports science, physical education and/or sports medicine. To begin a career as a Coach, most coaches have to become an Asst. Coach at a local High School to gain knowledge of coaching and motivating a team to do great things...
