What is music? Is music art? What purpose does music serve? What purpose does art serve? What does art have to do with music? These are questions that should be asked when trying to make the distinction of whether or not music is art. First we should define art. Can you really define art? Everybody has a different opinion of what art is or isn't so you can't really give art a universal definition.
