Issues of our nation's failed drug policies can be herald all around the world. Billions of dollars are being spent on policies that are not working. So what can be done to help the war on drugs? Many people are asking this question. There are policies flying around to help the war on drugs, but sad to say, some of them are not working.
One might say the progress is a slow process, but if everyone works together than in individual group maybe we can fight this war on drugs. The War on Drugs has result in the arrest, prosecution and incarceration of ten of thousand of persons each year for crimes associated with the possession and use of illegal drugs (Common Sense for Drug policy). Problems that I see with the current drug war policies are the drug policies on youth and families, mandatory minimum sentencing, and the amount of money being spent on these policies.
The first that that I would change about the issue on drug war is the usage of money. The drug war issues are causing the nation more than it is worth...
