What are Dreams? Dreams are made up of aspects of our lives such as goals, imaginations, memories, past experiences, fantasies, and concerns. It is believed that dreams are in color. Aristotle believed that dreams were a reflection of one's soul. Some people think that dreams are symbolic of something in a person's life and through dreams one can learn more about the dreamer's thoughts, feelings, behaviors, motives, and values. It is believed that all humans have dreams even though they may not be remembered. The Freudian school thinks that dreams are the result of subconscious thoughts and desires that, together, form an imagery of the dream. Aristotle believed that dreams were based on the circumstances that affect the senses before and during sleep.
