Lance Armstrong
Cancer is a disease, a disease that can eat away and destroy your body unlike anything else on this earth. To get this awful plague sometimes means a death sentence, other times it means dealing with intense treatment. Cancer can hit like a ton of bricks, one second your fine, and the next you don't know what hit you. Lance Armstrong's life seemed wonderful, he had a good life and a great career going for him, until cancer brutally attacked him, leaving him a frail and broken person. Through this entire battle Lance became a different person who looked at life in a totally different way.
Lance has had many struggles in his life, some beginning to plague him as soon
as he left his mothers womb. He weighed 9 pounds, 12 ounces at birth. His mother, Linda Mooneyham had great difficulty in giving birth to Lance. Linda had a fever for several days after Lance was born which kept him away from her until she recovered (18). One thing Lance missed was a strong father figure in his young life...
