Abstract
Marriage and family, the basis of mankind, since the beginning of man we have had procreation to carry on the human race. Some of the earliest writings about procreation tells us that there are certain rules and guidelines that make up a marriage, and which carryover to the family units. ... Maintaining a marriage has never been stated that it would be easy to do but, was stated to be the way of life.

Marriage is the contract that is entered into by man and women through mutual consent from the love and caring that each feel for the other. Marriage from the biblical sense has been around from the beginning in Genesis. ...
In the biblical sense this is what gives way to the belief of till death do we part:
Marriage was not to be entered into unadvisedly, lightly or wantonly, so the prayer book warned. ... 289)
This and a lot of other teaching that are from the bible give us a lot of our moral beliefs, the institution of marriage was built from the priests and there interpretation of the scripture in the bible. ... 113) A lot of ways we deal with this is how we are raised and the beliefs we have in marriage even though it seems to be easier to divorce in this day and age. ... They also know how to use the covenant aspect of their marriage vows, the simple but powerful fact of a formal and solemn commitment, as a powerful aid in changing the direction of the drift. ... 113)
We have seen a lot of changing trends through out history and it appears we will see some more drastic changes in the future with same sex issues in legislation:
Backers of a constitutional amendment to declare marriage a covenant between a man and woman are calling last weeks Supreme Court sodomy ruling a boost, but they say it will take a state endorsing homosexual "marriage" to force a vote.
