"Andrew Carnegie does an excellent job of supporting his argument that the "Gospel of Wealth" is both realistic and desirable." This quote is describing Document 134, "The Gospel of Wealth." I agree with this statement because Mr. Carnegie backs up his opinion with good evidence and is very convincing with his words. Andrew
Carnegie believes in change greatly. He states "the conditions of human life have not only been changed, but revolutionized." Then, he goes on to say "this change, however, is not deplored, but welcomed as highly beneficial." From this point Carnegie goes on to discuss his "Gospel of Wealth." He begins with modes in which wealth can be disposed of. There are three ways and the first is the wealth being left to the families of the decedents...
