Wether people today have the freedom to make their own decision of hold individauls accountablefor their own actions is a controvercial problem. Some one claims that cocieties must hold individuals take resposibility to their own actions, while the others claim that people's behavior is largely determined by forces not of their own making . In my point of view , although we are a world that advocates democracy, the freedom is relative one. That meams what we decided to do and behavior should be accordance with the law , ethics, customer and other kinds of regulation.
It is widely accepted that everyone has the right to make his decisions freely , however, there is a premise that what you do is not beyond the range the public admitted. For example , in the scientific field , all the scentists are encouraged to make breakthroughs in their specialties. And what they need for the experiment or examination are satisties no matter how expensive the appatus are if the government or the organiztion can afford. So all the power in the sociaty support such behavior. However, if the result of the reseach will not benefit us or even do harm to us , then we will stop it without any dout. Clone tecnology is a typical example, it doesnot accord with ethics in the world...
