Anti-war: Bush is NOT Just
The war against Iraq is ridiculous. We are trying to defeat specific people, but in doing that we are killing harmless civilians who know nothing than what their leaders have told them. Bush has no just cause in getting so involved in the war; there is no just cause that we have to bomb Iraq. Iraq was not affiliated in the attacks against the United States, which influenced people to want to have the war; therefore we are not given the legitimate authority to declare war. As Texas Representative Ron Paul stated-
Reality: According to the latest edition of the State Department's Patterns of Global Terrorism, Iraq sponsors several minor Palestinian groups, the Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MEK), and the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). None of these carries out attacks against the United States. As a matter of fact, the MEK (an Iranian organization located in Iraq) has enjoyed broad Congressional support over the years. According to last year's Patterns of Global Terrorism, Iraq has not been involved in terrorist activity against the West since 1993 the alleged attempt against former President Bush.
The United State does not have comparative justice since Iraq was not behind any of the attacks. Since Iraq did not try to destroy the United Sates, Bush did not follow the Immunity of noncombatants rule of just...
