Illegal Drugs Need To Stop

Personally, I believe that not just teens, but all people need to stop doing illegal drugs! Drug use is accepted if those drugs are legally prescribed and used for medical reasons, but the abuse of prescription and use of illicit drugs needs to stop nation wide. There are many reasons to support my beliefs of this ongoing problem. Many people are dying daily from drug overdose (OD). According to the US Department of Justice statistics, nearly 10,000 people died of drug overdose in 1996 with trends indicating a dramatic increase in the following years. Prescription drugs, the sniffing, smoking, or injecting of drugs such as cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, or marijuana can cause these deaths. Many of these drugs have awful side affects, which I plan on telling you about a bit further on. If you are one of the drug abusers that I am referring to, after reading my research paper I hope that you can tell not only me, but also yourself, that you do not want to do drugs.
