Facts:
Brown claims that the defendant's negligence caused the injuries he incurred while playing football. Brown was playing in a high school football game when he lowered his head to attempt to tackle the opposing team's running back. He struck his head on the opponent and fell to the ground becoming unconscious. A teammate was the first on the scene; he rolled Brown over to see if he was all right. The Coach was soon on the field, he continued to care for Brown by removing his helmet and beginning CPR, even though he was not properly trained in CPR, he felt this was what Brown needed. Brown was then taken by ambulance back to is hometown over 50 miles away, which was agreed upon by Brown's parents and Coach, where he was pronounced to be paraplegic. The duty of the defendants; Anywhere School District, the Athletic Director, the High School Principle, the Athletic Trainer, and the head Coach, is to provide proper care for the athletes and make sure they know of the inherent risks of playing football. The School District's job is to make sure that proper coaches are hired, and are trained properly in their area of work. They also need to assure that athletes have proper people to care for incidents that may arise, and also make sure that the parents and athletes are properly warned of the risks they are getting involved in.
