Albert Camus and Gabriel Garca Mrquez wrote some amazing stories in their time. Two of these stories are "Tuesday Siesta "and "The Guest". Albert Camus wrote "The Guest" and Mrquez wrote "Tuesday Siesta". Both stories symbolize different things. "Tuesday Siesta" symbolizes pride, while "The Guest" symbolizes "the good of man" or it has something to do with morals. In the two stories presented, symbolism was extremely important in these three ways: pride, the "good of man", and how the two stories relate to each other.
