When the thought of Memorial Day comes to my mind, I think beyond hotdogs, barbeques, and a day off. I think of the courage of our soldiers, the soldiers of today, the soldiers before us, and the soldiers of tomorrow. Many of these people have paid the ultimate price of our freedom, death. Lives were devastated because of wars, not only those who died, but also close friends and family. So I ask you to honor those who have fought for us. They are our guardians, guardians of America.
Memorial Day is for remembering not only those who have fought and died in World War II, but for soldiers who have also died serving our country at other times. These men were just like anyone else. They had a job and favorite hobbies. They were the same as you and me...
