Upon some of my travels in Europe I have come into contact with a few gypsies, in two particular instances. The first was Greece. My family and I, while on a vacation in Athens, were shopping around in one of the many markets in the middle of town. While on this escapade we were encountered by two ladies selling table cloths. The ladies were in their upper ages and wearing long colorful dresses that did not look to be very new. Their leathery faces had very dark complexions and were partly covered by long, thick, knotty, black hair. The beautiful white table cloths that they held open armed in front of us were of very good quality and were very skillfully hand made. One lady attempted to haggle with us. She spoke English fairly well but had a desperate look on her face. These ladies were typical European market sales persons...
