#2 The Kitchen
The kitchen was the center of my life growing up. It was an area where I completed homework, sat and talked to my parents about situations and problems I had, and discussed sports with my older brother. The kitchen was an area where my family gathered to eat food. Also, laugh at my dad's stupid jokes. It was my area before I went to sleep and when I woke up. The kitchen was the most important room in my house.
Williamsport, Pennsylvania is the little town where I grew up. As a child thinking back, the kitchen seemed so big and bright, so homey and warm. There was always the smell of fresh bread or brownies, which filled the house with the aroma that, will never exit my sense. The oven seemed like the heart and soul of our kitchen...
