In this essay I will include ten articles on child labour and tell how each one takes
place in the world today. Child labour is a big issued in other countries and since we
don't see much of it in Canada, we are unaware of just how extensive child labour is
around the world.
In one article I researched, it talks of an issue in India which has the highest number of
working children in the world. Children are not receiving the education crucial to the
development of the child's life. The number in India ranges from 60 to 115 million
working children. This is a major concern for the future of India. The Government of
India has been negligent in collecting relevant data regarding the incidence of child labour
and has let it continue in India. That is pretty healthy for India when they have a
government who doesn't care for the people of the country. The children of India are
doing nine industrial divisions of work which include: 1) cultivation, 2) agricultural
labour, 3) livestock, forestry, fishing plantation, 4) mining and quarrying, 5)
manufacturing, processing servicing and repairs, 6) construction, 7) trade and commerce,
8) transport, storage and communications and 9) other services in the communities.

family's total income in the poorer families...
