ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the successes and the failures of Marrybrown in its operation locally and internationally. It highlights how the company expands its business with the opening of new outlets.
INTRODUCTION
According to Michael H. Seid the founder and Managing Director of MSA (Michael H. Seid and Associates) in his article titled "Making the Franchise decision" published in the Franchising.com homepage, franchising finds its roots before the Middle Ages. It first appeared commercially in the United States before the Civil War, likely with Robert Fulton and his licensing of his steamboats and emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the post World War II 1950's. It boomed in the 60's. It policed itself in the 70's and it matured in the 80's and 90's.
