Online gambling is a huge industry that is very controversial and effects many people all over the world. The two biggest moneymakers on the internet are online gambling and pornography. Internet gambling first began in 1995 and over the years 73 governments have legalized some form of online gaming. Currently there are between 1800 and 2000 casinos on the internet that offer sports gambling, casino games or both. In 2003 it is estimated that online gambling collected 6.4 billion dollars in revenue. With so many sites and that much money involved it is evident that online gambling is a commonly used aspect of the internet.
There are many laws and regulations involved with online gambling that are constantly changing and adapting to popular culture. In the United States gambling is illegal in many states. Conducting business as an online gambling site located inside the United States is currently illegal...
