Analysis of role of the creative studio department within the placement organisation and how it contributes to the effective operation of the organisation.
Purpose
The purpose of this report is to research and analyse the role of the creative studio department within CMS Advertising, and how it contributes to the effective operation of the organisation. This will include describing the purpose of the creative studio department, its functions, its role with the other departments and how it operates.
Findings
The services/objective of studio
The creative studio department within CMS Advertising produces the advertisements which the recruitment department and the media department have booked and contracted from there clients. This will involve the graphic designers within the studio in creating anf producing the advertisements from scratch. The studio also has in-house copywriting which allows it to write the advertisements. The studio also produces brochures, catalogues, direct mail advertising, packaging, point of sale material, videos and corporate brochures for clients. The CMS brochures and catalogues have also been created and produced by the studio department, recently the department has produced catalogues and point of sales material, such as posters for a stand which where used in an exhibition for a client of the business. As well as producing the advertisements for the clients of the business, and all the other various services which the studio offers, is also responsible for maintaing the companies website and updating its contents when the need arises.
