Steroids In Baseball
The use of steroids in baseball has enabled the players to increase their performance during the course of the game. Much of baseball's appeal comes from statistics. With the use of steroids these statistics are in a way, false. The use of steroids should not be allowed. The baseball players of the 1950's would never even think about using steroids. Using steroids was considered a "taboo only violated by a few renegade sluggers". Now steroid use is running rampant, "used by 20 to 40% of the players in major league baseball". Years ago people thought that Babe Ruth's addiction to alcohol helped him hit better when in fact it actually worsened his ability to hit. His records were set without any steroid use. The records that are now being broken, are broken unjustly by the players using steroids...
