FDR
Franklin D. Roosevelt was the first of our nation's modern presidents. He was a president that lead our country through many hard times and obstacles. Since FDR, the role of the presidents has become increasingly important and his influence has become a prominent fixture throughout the political world. He did many great things over his long term of over twelve years.
FDR was born in Hyde Park, New York on January 30, 1982. In 1905 he was married to his cousin known as Eleanor. He began politics at a fairly young age. At the age of 28 he was elected to the New York State Senate in 1910. He stayed in this position until 1913...
