Darfur, the Forgotten Sudanese War As of today, the White House wants a peace agreement between the government of the Sudan and the southern rebels of the Sudan People’s Liberation Army. Though in the midst of this, Darfur a city on the western border of Sudan, is plagued by a new civil war. It started when Adel Wahid Mohammed, a lawyer, stated that a rebellion would take place against the current government.
