The movie starts off with a man named Jack in a very tough situation, he either stays back with his girlfriend Kate or leaves to London to where might be a great start to a huge career. However, he choose to go to London where over time he became the president of a muli-million dollar company. He had forgotten about everything he left back home, so ten years later he had no girlfriend and no wife and was a very snobbish man. Jack rubbed his money in everyone's face. Then on Christmas eve night after he had ran into some trouble at the liquor store, he ran into a very strange man. This man was actually doing him a favor in the viewers mind. He was going to show him a glimpse of how his life would of been if he hadn't left to go to London and stayed back with his girlfriend ten years back. Numerous things happened during the glimpse. He was very confused for a while and hated everything about his life during the glimpse. He then started to understand what was going on and began to fall in love with Kate and instantly felt that, that life was right with her and their kids...
