Technology has changed the wolrd dramatically in the last 200 years. Trains, planes, rockets, satellite, so many innovations came into our lives and change our life. However, the technology is so powerful, but it cannot change the condition of huminity; it is only the human can improve the condition of humanity.
The last century witnesses the unpreceeded technological progress as well as the bad condition of humanity: war, violence and poverty. We are surrounded by the technology: telephone makes us to talk to people who is far away; washing machine help us to wash clothes; planes, trains, automobiles make travelling ease. Technology is so great! On the other hand, Swords, arrows, are all outdated; now we use fighters, missiles, amoured tanks, aircraftcarriers and submarines in the war because such weapons are easier for us to kill more people as the result of the technological progress. The number of poor still remains high, millions of Jews were dead in the Holocaust before and during the WWII, it seems that technology does little to solve the problem of how to improve the condition of humanity.
However, we should notice that the technology progress really improve the physical living conditions for we human. Although the population increases, the production of foods increase dramatically, which mailnly is dued to the use of technology...
